AND FOR YEARS TO COME.
Tulsa Fraternal Order of Police President Jeff Downs has been a law enforcement officer for 28 years. He spent the majority of his career in specialty units which including foot beat, street crimes, the motorcycle unit, and various temporary task forces. Even though his main duties are serving the members of Tulsa FOP Lodge 93, he still dedicates a day each week to working in the field and special events.
During that time, he's been very active in the lodge, serving on various boards and committees since 1995. He was elected as president of Tulsa FOP Lodge 93 at the end of 2020 and is the voice for over 1300 active and retired Tulsa Police Officers. During his presidency, he's help negotiate one of the largest pay raises in TPD's history, and is a strong advocate for officer's rights.
