FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE #93 PROPOSED CHANGE TO THE BY-LAWS
To amend Article 8, Section 2 by adding new language related to the Public Relations Fund. By including a “cap and trigger” process related to a maximum fund balance of the Public Relations Fund.
ByLaws Article 8 DUES AND ASSESSMENTS
Section One. Each applicant for membership shall include a signed payroll deduction form for the monthly dues assessment.
Section Two. Dues for each regularly appointed police office shall be a sum equal to two (2) hours of the lowest paid police officer step reflected in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 93 and the City of Tulsa and its relevant appendices.
The Public Relations Fund shall be funded by a sum equal to one-half (½) hour of the lowest paid police officer step as reflected in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 93 and the City of Tulsa and its relevant appendices.
The maximum fund balance in the Public Relations Fund shall be three hundred fifty thousand dollars $350,000. Excess funds received pursuant to Section Two shall be deposited into the general operating budget and be used for other appropriations in accordance with Article 9 - Appropriations.
Section(s) 3, 4 and 5 will remain the same.
